We woke up to rain , rain and more rain this morning and on looking at the weather on the internet it said only 1.4mm feels like a lot more. Jill is back to full exercise this week. She has been out to the gym each day and lifting her weights as well. The hour in the gym tiers her and she sits to watch some afternoon soaps.
Mum is still in hospital, some days I think she has improved and then the other afternoon I received a phone call from one of the nurses caring for her. She said Gwen wanted to see me urgently. I hurried up there and she was sitting in bed – Pat had arrived just before me and mum had said that she thought she was going. Half an hour later she was Ok. The last couple of days they have had her showered and off to physio early and she has certainly been much better and wanting to get back to St Cath’s. The doctor told Pat she expected her to be back early this week. She had a visit from Chris and Nicole yesterday afternoon which certainly would have picked her up. I’m wondering if she will remember to tell me today.
Chris and Nicole arrived yesterday which certainly thrilled Jill and we also got another surprise as Michael arrived late in the afternoon so we almost had a family reunion. We had Thai for tea – Chris and Nicole when off to get it about 6pm and arrived back at 8.30pm – Visiting Grandma & Aunty Jean while waiting for the meal. We had a choice of 5 different meals and it certainly was very nice.
Late yesterday afternoon we were Skyped by Jeannette and Gavin from Kalbarri in the west, they were leaving there this morning it has been windy and cool for the last couple of days. They are off to look at the wild flowers – every colour you can imagine.
On Friday morning we watched a Webinar on the computer which was about caring for somebody with a neurological disorder. It was titled “Finding Meaning with Charles” a PowerPoint Slide Presentation by Janet Edmunson. It lasted about 2 hours and included a question and answer section. It covered the progression of Charles Illness and how Janet handled it. She speaks at conventions and has written a book with the same title.
I have booked into another webinar.

See you next week on the net.
