This week I have had my right hand cut off literally – our laptop has been getting doctored. I have a Microsoft program that has been classified as non genuine and a countdown had begun. I actually had a legal version in the drawer and even after loading that over the top the problem still occurred. My computer guru has not solved the problem and we are just waiting to see what happens today which is “0” day. I am still writing and nothing strange has happened.
We have been doing a pre Spring cleanup, mowing lawns, vacuuming carpets, mopping floors, cleaning windows and even emptied the crystal out of the cabinet and put it through the dish washer. Jill’s just worried she won’t be able to find things.
We have also been on EBay purchasing some items for the bathroom, taps, floor waste and tastic heater. We have also made a decision to go with a moulded vinyl floor which is commonly used for disabled showers instead of ceramic floor tiles. We were able to go and see a display here in Wangaratta. We have been still watching EBay for current Series 2000 Triton bench – but are having no success.
On Wednesday we had a visit from Chris & Nicole on there way to Merimbula for a few days with a couple of their friends – he picked up a couple of surf reels from here – making us very envious and spurring us on to get away at Easter and later in the year to Hervey Bay.
While eating lunch yesterday we had a visit from my sister Pat and mum. She had just collected half a cow from the butcher which had been slaughtered and prepared for her. I went out to her car and in the boot was a selection of rolled roasts, minced beef and beautiful T bones – She said “take your pick” Thanks Pat.
The MSA group that we belong to on Yahoo has been doing a series “a day in the life of a person with MSA” and it makes me think that the stem cells are having more effect than we thought. Yesterday as Pat got into her car she mentioned how good she thought Jill’s voice was. Even though her balance shows no improvement, writing and speech do. This comment from Marilyn in Missouri (Sassman) “Move it or lose it works for all us older folks, but for somebody with MSA it is especially true.” Is one that as you all know we think so important. I had better get Jill some breakfast or I will loose my popularitySee you next week on the net.
